Today we drove 3 hours to Mt. Cook, along the way we drove past at least 2 giant lakes that were bright blue. They looked like they should have been cake frosting or something, not water. The lakes were formed from the melting glaciers we are planning to see tomorrow. When we arrived, to was raining and hailing, so we didn't get to do all the hiking we wanted but we plan to get up early tomorrow and do some before we take a boat up the river to the glacier. Should be fun, it is incredibly beautiful here.
