Today we went to visit the Shire, or more accurately the farm where they filmed the shire. It unfortunately was incredibly foggy so the great overlooks were very white with fog. We still got to see the Hobbit holes and have a drink at the Green Dragon bar. I really wish it hadn't been foggy but it was still neat to see the amount of detail the set had and that they maintain it for the tours. They have 3 full time gardeners alone. Tonight we return our rental car and get up super early to catch our flight to Cairns. Australia here we come!
