The tour for the Colosseum was great, we were given access to the underground, the stage and the upper level of the stadium, which is not open to the general public. It was fantastic. I was even able to see the underground river that was used to flood the stadium. I always thought that idea was a little too far-fetched but there is enough water running under that stadium that it could have been pretty easy actually.
I'm resting now and will head home first thing tomorrow. I'm not sure what we are doing for the next few weeks or where we are going to be staying but it will be good to be back.
