Today we drove about 5 hours from the Penguins to Te Anu, where we took a boat to a cave with a river running through it. Ducking inside you can barely see these little blue lights from the glowworms on the roof of the cave. The best part at the end is they put you on a small raft in the underground river, turn out all the lights and use a rope to pull the boat against the current into a little grotto where a bunch of these glowworms live. It was quite amazing, here is a link to the site about the cave. No photos allowed, but they would have been pretty bad photos anyway because of how dark it was. Tomorrow we board a boat to cruise Doubtful Sound overnight.
