Today we took a ferry, to a bus that took us to our overnight boat. We basically had to use the ferry to get across a massive lake, then take a bus on a private, very remote, road over the mountains, down to sea level and board our overnight boat to even get to doubtful sound. Oh and it was raining the whole time, which it turns out is a mixed blessing, on one hand you can't see anything you came to see, but on the other hand, the mountains of doubtful sound are so steep and rocky that rain forms new temporary waterfalls everywhere which was fun to see. In the evening the weather cleared up a bit and we got to see seals and quite a few rainbows. Tomorrow's weather should hopefully be better.
