Today we woke up early and drove the rest of the way to Milford Sound (about an hour) on an even curvier and steeper road than before. It was raining too so that didn't help matters. Instead of doing a cruise like in Doubtful Sound Erin had booked us to do Kayaking. We were the only people signed up for the trip which should have been a red flag. It was cold, wet and raining the entire time. We had scheduled for 3 hours but we turned back after 2. It wasn't all bad though, we got to get a close look at Milford's mountains and even some sleeping seals on the rocky shores. Then we drove back on the only road to Milford and headed toward Queenstown.
