This morning we were greeted by some local flightless birds that the owners of our motel feed. After a quick feeding and photoshoot, we began driving up the coast but first we stopped at a site called "Pancake Rocks." It's an area of the shore where mud stone has formed in layers and then eroded away in large stacks to make them look like pancakes. There is also supposed to be some great geyser effects from the erosion at high tide. We saw a few but were not overly impressed. Today was mostly driving to Kaiteriteri.
