Today Erin and I went to the New Orleans Aquarium and got to go into the penguin exhibit. Erin has been interested in doing this ever since we moved here and this weekend turned out to be the perfect weekend to do it! It was amazing and very cute. Before we went into the exhibit to feed some of the penguins we were introduced to two of them in a private room. It turns out they are a lot like cats, they will chase string, laser pointers and like to play with people and get petted (***these at the aquarium, not wild penguins). They raised a lot of these penguins to be social with people so they could more easily feed them and care for them. We are definitely interested in doing this again so if anyone wants to join us it is the easiest excuse we can make to head to the aquarium again.
